My choice for Arizona's Superintendent of Public Instruction: John Huppenthal.
John is endorsed by Congressman Trent Franks, former Florida governor Jeb Bush, former GOP Gubernatorial nominee Len Munsil, and Arizona Right to Life. He has a strong track record in the Arizona Legislature, and few individuals have been as pro-active as he has during his eighteen years in serving the state.
John Huppenthal seems to have a plan for how to direct the schools in Arizona - a well thought-out, conservative plan. He's a staunch advocate for increased parental choice, for home schooling rights, and for promoting more of an awareness of the great history of our country.
John has proven throughout his career that he doesn't simply talk; he follows his rhetoric to fruition as best he can. His record shows that he is unafraid to make the tough decisions. It also helps that he hasn't been part of the problem in this state's school system (as has one of his closest competitors, Margaret Dugan, who currently is serving as the Deputy Superintendent of Schools). He's a fresh voice with solid ideas that can definitely work if given a chance to be implemented.
The Arizona school system is one of the worst in the country. We need change in the worst way for the sake of our future generations who are now in (and will be in) the system. John Huppenthal is the right person for the position. He will bring his extensive experience to the job to correct the problems our schools cannot seem to shake.
Voters of Arizona, vote for John Huppenthal for Arizona Superintendent of Schools!
