Republicans can select two of the three Arizona Corporation Commission candidates to fill out their primary ballot. Politics in AZ highly recommends Gary Pierce and Brenda Burns.
Both Gary and Brenda have experience in the Arizona Legislature, and they are both proven conservative leaders. Gary is currently a member of the Corporation Commission. Brenda has complied more endorsements of conservative elected officials in this state than I can count - she is definitely respected as a conservative voice in Arizona.
One reason not to vote for their opponent in this GOP Primary - In 2006, Barry Wong was appointed by then-Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano to fill an empty seat on the commission, which begs the question in my mind: 'Why did the liberal Napolitano feel comfortable enough to appoint Wong to the position?' This former arrangement is definitely suspect enough in my mind to question whether or not Barry Wong could ever be a top-notch conservative for the Commission.
This Tuesday, please vote for Gary Pierce and Brenda Burns for the Arizona Corporation Commission.
